National Survey of Student Engagement

NSSE Survey: Open March 10, 2026

YSU wants students to have the best educational experience possible, and the National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE) helps by providing vital information about activities in and out of the classroom. The NSSE (pronounced “Nessie”) measures student experiences in practices known to impact student engagement, retention, and success positively. 

All first-year and senior students are invited to participate. The survey will open on March 10th. Check your YSU email for your individual survey link. In appreciation for participating, we will enter all students who complete the survey into a drawing for 1 of 50 Amazon gift cards worth $25 each.
