Alison has been with YSU since 2016, and is primarily responsible for managing student-learning outcomes assessment for academic and co-curricular programs, and managing institutional student surveys (NSSE, Noel Levitz). On campus, she also serves as an advisor to the Student Government Association and teaches part-time in the College of Education. Before coming to YSU, she completed a BS in Non-Profit Administration at Cleveland State University, MS in Urban Education (Instruction in Urban Settings) at Florida International University, and a PhD in Urban Education (Policy Studies) at Cleveland State University. She is interested in involving students in the assessment and evaluation process, and finding ways to increase the use of student voice in decision-making.
 


Matt Dieter

Matt is the Assistant Director of Faculty Development and has been at YSU since 2026. Prior to joining YSU, he spent 30 years in public education as both a teacher and administrator in school districts in Virginia, Ohio, and Pennsylvania.  He has also served as an adjunct professor of education at Thiel College and Robert Morris University. Matt earned a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. He holds master's degrees in Educational Administration from Westminster College and Instructional Technologies and Design, with an emphasis in online education, from the University of Missouri.

 

 


Stephanie Richardson

COORDINATOR CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT

Stephanie has been at YSU since 2024, and is the primary system administrator for two Watermark products, Faculty Success and Course Evaluations & Surveys. She also coordinates the PT faculty credentialing process. Previously, she was employed at Oberlin College as the Box Office Coordinator for the Theater & Dance departments and was the Circulation Manager at the Greenville Area Public Library. She holds an MLS in Library Science from Clarion University of Pennsylvania and a BA in Psychology from Thiel College.
