During the Organization & Conversation Phase, the Strategic Planning Organization Team, composed of representatives of faculty, administration, staff, students and the Board of Trustees was charged with:
The team brought to campus, experts in higher education for the Thought Leader Series, posed numerous questions to the campus community for feedback and helped to set up a town hall meeting for the entire campus community.

During the Development Phase, the Strategic Planning Organization Team transitioned to the Strategic Planning Operating Team. This group worked over the summer to compile, evaluate and analyze the academic slide decks, responses and data collected throughout Phase 1. This team continued to work with constituencies and groups across campus such as deans, chairs and divisional directors throughout the Fall 2019 semester to develop the outline for the Strategic Action Plan.
During the Review & Feedback Phase, the Strategic Planning Organization Team has developed a DRAFT Plan of Strategic Academic Actions for review and feedback by the campus community.
During the Preparation & Publication Phase, the Strategic Plan Organizing Team (SPOT) has developed a PENULTIMATE Plan for Strategic Actions to Take Charge of Our Future which will be used to finalize a recommended Plan for Strategic Action to Take Charge of our Future to be presented to the Board of Trustees in June 2020.
During the Implementation Phase, the campus community will implement the Plan for Strategic Actions to Take Charge of Our Future - Plan for Academic Actions and Plan for Support Area Actions.
The Board approved Plan for Strategic Actions to Take Charge of Our Future was finalized considering the collective of the feedback from the campus community.
