- Log into the Penguin Portal with your YSU account at https://penguinportal.ysu.edu
- Click the three line mega menu icon in the upper left-hand side, next to the "Know Y" logo
- A side menu should appear - the second option in this menu is "All Cards". Open this to view new Penguin Portal cards.
- In the search bar, type in "Order Your YSU Parking Pass"
- Click on the first card that appears, and this should open the YSU Parking Portal.
- You may need to log in again with your YSU account.
- Once logged in, click "Get Permits" and at the "Register for a Permit" page, click Next.
- The next screen will display your permit options. Select one, check "I agree to abide by all parking rules and regulations", and click "Next".
- Select the vehicle(s) you will use with your permit. If you have not yet added a vehicle or need to add another, select "Add Vehicle".
- Select or add a current address for mailing. Click next.
- Permits will be added to your Cart. Enter an E-mail address to receive a receipt/summary of your transaction. Once you are sure the details are correct, click next.
- At this point you should be at the final "Payment Information" screen. Select "Confirm". Charges for Parking Passes are billed to your Student Account. For instructions on how to make a payment, view the Online Instructions for "Pay Bill".
- A receipt indicates that an order has been placed and will be sent to your YSU e-mail. Select "Print Temporary Permit" to obtain a valid temporary permit.
