Around Here, It’s Always Eternity features four contemporary artists Bonny Leibowitz, Alice Pixley Young, Deborah Wasserman and Etty Yaniv. The exhibition explores the contemporary landscape as a metaphor for social, ecological, and political upheaval, situated between the fossil age and the nuclear age. Using discarded objects, wire, fabric, photography, moving shadows, and painting, these artists examine how built and natural environments collide, forcing a look at resource exploitation and environmental memory. The work on view August 25-October 24 directly engages with the physical and industrial history of the region.

On display at the John J. McDonough Museum from August 25 - December 12 will be the Kilcawley Print Collection including twenty-three original prints by prominent postmodern artists of the 1960s. Acquired over several years during the 1970s the Kilcawley Print Collection includes signed and numbered prints by prominent artists of the period including Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, Jasper Johns, Robert Rauschenberg and Christo among others.
